*note 1how our repeaters are setup

  • Our MMDVM Repeaters (VE3XII is a dedicated D-Star repeater) are Duplex (RX on one Freq. TX on a different Freq)
  • Currently we have only one in Mixed Mode (Chatham UHF 443.350 + 5 Mhz shift) and can be linked with proper commands
  • VA3ODC-B can be set to Repeat many different Digital modes [mixed mode] or FM (but does not Transcode between Modes)
  • Our UHF repeaters usually have a +5 Mhz shift (RX to TX) as well can link Digital modes to the internet (Not FM)
  • Our VHF repeaters usually have a + or - 600 Khz shift (RX to TX) as well can link Digital modes to the internet (Not FM)
  • Some MMDVM (not ours) are high power hot spots running simplex (no shift RX to TX) usually only link Digital modes to the internet

*note 2independent repeaters

  • These repeaters are usually run independently of club projects

Chatham-Kent

ODC maintains a complete APRS system. It well covers most of Chatham-Kent (and large parts of surrounding 'counties') in some capacity (a very large area)

VA3APW-3 location: Chatham | Range: 40km+ - covers Chatham | hiway 401

VE3GUK-2 location: Chatham | Range: 40km+ - covers Chatham - RF>IS and IS>RF msg capable | hiway 401

VE3XII-11 location: Wallaceburg | Range: 40km+ - Covers Wallaceburg to Sarnia - RF>IS and IS>RF msg capable | hiway 40

VA3XLT-2 location: East Chatham | Range: 50km+ - 401 midway between Chatham and London - Digi only | hiway 401

This area was void of coverage and it now covers a large portion of the 401 hiway and surrounding area.
